The grand Palais des Champs-Elysées also known as the Grand Palais is an old and historic building of Paris. This monument was first built for the universal exhibition in 1900.
This monument is iconic and well-known in Paris. In fact, it hosts about 40 major events and welcomes about 2 millions visitors a year. Until 2000, the Grand Palais was considered as an Historic Monument of Paris.

The Grand Palais is currently proposing two differents exhibitions: you have the choice between exploring the world of Rodin or discovering an original universe focused on gardens.
The Rodin exhibition is a unique experience where you will have the opportunity to discover the work of the founder of modern sculpture.
Auguste Rodin, was born in 1848 and is a Master in his art.
This exhibition (until 31 july 2017) is a new way to discover and appreciate the life and work of Rodin.Through this exhibition you will find out the spirit of this genius, but also some contemporary artists from Rodin’s time.
Garden exhibition is an other universe that you should see. Ending on 24/07/2017, this is a unique occasion to find out new artists. This event brings together various paintings, sculptures and photographies all focused around the “garden” topic.
The main goal of this exhibition is to demonstrate how gardens are a complete work of art and how they stimulate all our senses. By walking in this exhibition, you will satisfy and stimulate each one of your senses.
In September 2017, the Grand Palais will host a must-see exhibition focused on the artist Irving Penn, who is the major photograph of the 20th century. This talented man is well-known for its portrait of Picasso, Audrey Hepburn, Yves Saint Laurent among others…

In 2017-2018, you will have the possibility to attend 4 types of courses: on the art of prehistoric ages, middle ages, 18e century from today or by differents thematic (such as how to read paintings..).
