Les Champs-Elysées.. probably the most iconic symbol of Paris and french luxury…
This neighborhood is famous for l’Arc de Triomphe, its luxurious shops, and various gastronomic restaurants.
To visit this famous place, I recommend you to begin your tour at the Arc de Triomphe. This monument, standing at the center of Place Charles De Gaulle Etoile, was designed in 1806 by Jean Chalgrin and celebrates the names of people died for France.
This monument is at the center of 12 avenues. I advise you to go on the top of this building (if you have no fear of heights).. you will enjoy an amazing view of Paris.
Going back on Les Champs-Elysée avenue, you will enjoy luxurious shopping along your walk. I recommend you to take a stop at Publicis Drugstore to buy some sweets before your tour really starts (candies, fresh juice, original water..).
Following the direction of La grande Roue, you will have many occasions to visit luxurious brand stores such as Cartier, Disney Store, Louis Vuitton, Pierre Hermé..
Ending your promenade at Place de la Concorde, you will walk through the “Jardins de la Nouvelle France” : Gardens of the new France. Those little gardens are very nice and the calm in this place is perfect to rest before lunch.
For Dinner, I have two favorite restaurants in this neighborhood. The first one is the famous Le Fouquet’s Paris. I am sure that you heard about it before. This restaurant is well-known for its exceptional menu created in collaboration with super chef Pierre Gagnaire. Being part of the Hotel Barrière, this is an historical french restaurant.
You will taste high standard Parisian Brasserie dishes there ! Try everything, you will see, it’s delicious!

My other ‘coup de coeur’ goes to the genius and original restaurant Le Nubé inside the famous Hotel Marignan. This restaurant directed by chef Juan Arbelaez is a place of design and gastronomy.
For sure, you will eat with your mouth but also with your eyes ! I recommend you to ask a special menu if you go there for a special occasion, the chef is excellent and very creative.
